Every Sunday at 8pm, after the kids are down, I open the same Notion page. 45 minutes. Six columns. One question at the top: "What would move the needle this week?"
The columns: W-2 priorities. Boarding. eBay. Trading setup. Family. Rest. I force-rank three items in each. If a column has more than three, something has to come out. If trying to write three into rest feels ridiculous, that's the signal the rest of the week is already too full.
I'm not dogmatic about the format. I'm dogmatic about the block of time. The planning time is what makes the week work.
